2018 Food as Medicine Update: What to Tell Your Patients About Diet and Chronic Disease Prevention
The annual Food as Medicine Update series addresses the knowledge gap in continuing medical education related to the role of nutrition in patient care. In this full-day symposium, physicians and other health care professionals will learn about the most recent clinical research on nutrition and chronic disease prevention.
As part of this event, University Professor David Jenkins will be awarded the Rundle-Lister Lectureship in Transformative Nutritional Medical Education, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to translational research in the field of nutrition and the prevention of diabetes and hyperlipidemia.
