Research Interests
Obesity, Diabetes, Hypothalamic and pituitary disorders, Endocrine and metabolic disorders, Polycystic ovarian syndrome

Professor Jill Hamilton's research focuses on the metabolic complications of obesity in childhood; biologic and psychosocial determinants of obesity; mechanisms of weight regulation in hypothalamic obesity; and obesity treatment outcomes and interventions.

Her clinical interests include comprehensive tertiary care of children and teens with complex obesity, including hypothalamic obesity and bariatric surgery patients, and care of children with endocrine and metabolic disorders with an focus on type 2 diabetes, hypothalamic and pituitary disorders and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
