This year's event will take place on February 27, 2025 at George Brown College and will highlight Optimizing Diabetes Prevention and Care Through Low Glycemic Index Diets. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Summarize the evidence behind low glycemic index diets for the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes
  • Describe key components and features of dietary patterns that support the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes, such as low glycemic index diets
  • Implement effective strategies to facilitate a patient's integration of therapeutic dietary patterns into their lifestyle, including knowledge translation tools, food selection and preparation
