Plant-Based Educational Videos for Children

The Portfolio Diet outreach team in the University of Toronto's Department of Nutritional Sciencesand the Toronto 3D Knowledge Synthesis and Clinical Trials Unit, Clinical Nutrition and Risk Factor Modification Centre at St. Michael's Hospital have created plant-based nutrition education videos for children.

The teams are led by Lawson Centre scientist John Sievenpiper, who received funding from the Early Research Award (ERA) to create the videos as part of the STOP Sugars NOW trial.

The first two videos in the series are on soy protein and fibre, with more to follow in 2022.
