Advocacy Day 2023 - Advocating for Equitable Clinical Care

The Advisory Council for EDIIA in Clinical Care in the Department of Psychiatry will be hosting Advocacy Day 2023 on Friday June 2. The theme of this year's half-day virtual event is Advocating for Equitable Clinical Care: How de we act for Diversity and Meaningful Inclusion?

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to identify key steps in building a social accountability program to improve clinical care.
  2. Participants will be able to describe components of successful advocacy projects.
  3. Participants will be able to examine and discuss lessons learned around "EDI in action" including challenges and successes.

The event is accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada Mainpro+ (1 credit/hour) Group Learning and Royal College Maintenance of Certification Section 1 for up to 3 credit hours.
